Cancellation & Refunds

LexEra subscriptions are simple by design: one fixed monthly amount, cancel anytime from inside the app, access until the end of what you have paid for. This page sets out exactly how cancellation and refunds work. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. How Billing Works

  • Fixed Monthly SubscriptionEvery plan is a fixed monthly amount charged through Razorpay (UPI AutoPay, cards, or net banking). The amount shown on the pricing page is the final amount debited — there are no overage charges, setup fees, or hidden line items.
  • Automatic RenewalSubscriptions renew automatically each month on your billing date unless cancelled. Razorpay's eMandate flow means you are never asked to re-enter payment details.
  • Hard Credit CapsEach plan includes a fixed monthly credit allowance. When it is used up, paid features pause until the next billing cycle — you are never billed extra for usage.

2. Cancelling Your Subscription

  • Cancel AnytimeYou may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing inside the app. No phone calls, no emails, no retention flows.
  • Effective at Period EndCancellation stops the next renewal. Your access — including remaining credits — continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
  • No Further ChargesOnce cancelled, the payment mandate is revoked with Razorpay and no further amounts are debited.

3. Refunds

  • Standard PolicyPayments are non-refundable once processed. Because access and credits remain live until the end of the paid period, cancelling mid-cycle does not generate a pro-rata refund.
  • Unused CreditsMonthly credits do not carry forward between billing cycles and are not redeemable for cash.

4. Billing Errors & Duplicate Charges

If you believe you were charged in error — a duplicate debit, a charge after cancellation, or an amount different from your plan price — write to founder@lexera.co.in from your registered email. Verified erroneous or duplicate charges are reversed in full to the original payment method. Refunds initiated through Razorpay typically reach your account within 5–7 business days, subject to your bank's processing time.

5. Your Data After Cancellation

  • 90-Day RetentionAccount data is retained for 90 days after cancellation, so you can resubscribe without losing your workspace.
  • ExportClient data, query history, and documents can be exported in standard formats at any time before or during the retention window.
  • DeletionYou may request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.
